We need Books, Books, and more Books!!!

It warms my heart that our Children's Book Share boxes are being enjoyed throughout our 24 local business locations throughout Berks County. My 5 year old son and I just made our first complete rounds visiting each of the boxes to refill them, clean them up a bit, and visit the awesome owners at each location! I was amazed how empty some of the boxes were - and excited! This means kids are loving our free book libraries!!

Until our families get in the routine of "take a book, leave a book" we need your help!

Do you have children books you are ready to donate? -If so, please consider dropping them off in a book box! Click HERE to view our list of locations. Does your employer set up donation bins in the lobby or cafe? -If so, please consider printing this PDF and asking your HR department to send out an email to employees about donating used Children's Books for our boxes. Send me an email when the collection box is ready for pick up: heather@doitlocalfundraising.com

Does your girl scout troop want to set up a donation? -This would be amazing! We could brainstorm something that makes sense together (unless you already have a great idea!).

Send me an email: heather@doitlocalfundraising.com What about your rotary club? Networking group? Or other organization?-We appreciate every book we can collect! For donations of 30 books or less, please feel free to deliver them directly to one of our Book boxes and fill it up! If it's too full, leave your box of books with the owner of the business and send me an email telling me it's there. I will take it from there!

Just this week, we had a couple hundred book donations from the amazing employees at Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials on 5th Street Highway (formerly Quadrant Engineering Plastics) as well as the members of Immanuel UCC Church in Shillington. However, we are already out of books from our travel to each box to restock.

Thank you all for enjoying our book boxes and for helping to spread the word, excitement, and encouragement for our young children to keep reading!

Hugs & High Fives,

Heather Brady
